190/7(18.5 Overs)

Back with the second innings!

... The Run Chase ...

Now, heading into the second innings, the game is evenly poised. A target of 190 is by no means a walk in the park, and Australia will need a solid start from their top order, as the onus will be on their top order to set the tone. West Indies will be buoyed by their strong total and the momentum gained from their late flurry of wickets. The next few overs of the chase will be crucial, as if Australia get off to a flier, this could go down to the wire. Otherwise, the Windies have every chance

West Indies' Roston Chase says they got a good start in the Powerplay, and he just tried to take on the attack.

Australia’s bowling was tested heavily early on, but they showed great character and control in the second half. Ben Dwarshuis was the standout, finishing with four wickets, including a game-changing 19th over where he picked three. Nathan Ellis was tidy and effective as always, mixing up his lengths and slower balls smartly to pick up a key wicket. Owen, on debut, made an instant impact by removing the dangerous Hope in his first over. Zampa was economical but couldn't manage a breakthrough

The Windies batters played with fearless intent, especially after a flying start by Brandon King, who smacked four boundaries in his short stay. Shai Hope, the skipper, took charge from there and played the anchor role while also finding the boundary at regular intervals. Roston Chase was the star of the innings, smashing a quickfire 60 off just 32 balls, and together with Hope, stitched a 91-run stand that put Australia under pressure. After their dismissals, Shimron Hetmyer kept the tempo up

West Indies have posted a strong total of 189/8, but Australia clawed their way back beautifully in the last five overs to restrict what looked like a potential 210-plus score. After being asked to bat first, West Indies came out firing, racing to 56 in the Powerplay for the loss of just one wicket. The momentum was with them throughout the first half of the innings, thanks to their top order firing on all cylinders. However, the Aussies stayed patient, rotated their bowlers smartly, and manag

Is that a run-out? Ellis collected the throw well and dislodged the bails. Third umpire is called in and he checks the replays. Motie has made it to his crease in time. NOT- comes on the screen.

Nathan Ellis to Alzarri Joseph, Excellent bowling and excellent finish from Ellis in the final over! Spears in a yorker, on middle and off, Alzarri Joseph jams the bat down in time and the ball is squeezed out to the leg side, beside the pitch. DRINKS! West Indies are flying at the halfway mark of the inning after they were sent in to bat first. They got off to a flying start, with King setting the tone early by cracking a boundary off just the second ball of the innings. While Shai Hope took a few deliveries to settle in, he gradually found his timing and began rotating the strike well. The duo looked solid until King was undone by some smart work from Conor. Roston Chase has joined his captain in the middle, and he is batting very
