India vs Australia, BGT 2024 1st Test Match Live Cricket Score and Updates: Jasprit Bumrah-led Team India pulled off a remarkable comeback to defeat Australia by 295 runs in the first Test of the five-match series at Perth Stadium, securing a 1-0 lead. This win marked Australia's first-ever loss at the venue in five Test matches.

The game began with Bumrah opting to bat first after winning the toss, but the decision seemed to backfire as India was bowled out for a mere 150 in the first innings. Australia’s bowlers capitalized on the conditions, putting the visitors under immense pressure.

India, however, staged a remarkable turnaround by bundling Australia out for just 104 in their first innings, gaining a crucial 46-run lead. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah led the bowling attack, ensuring Australia couldn’t recover.

In the second innings, India delivered a batting masterclass, with centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli guiding them to an imposing 487/6 declared. The visitors set an enormous target of 534 for the hosts.

Australia’s chase never gained momentum despite a gritty 89 from Travis Head, as the team collapsed to 238 all out. Bumrah and Siraj claimed three wickets each, sealing India’s emphatic win and a historic triumph at Perth Stadium.
