Chasing 374 for victory, England were bowled out for 367, falling agonizingly short despite needing just 35 runs with four wickets in hand at the start of the final day.

Siraj was the hero, taking 3 wickets on the final day to complete a five-wicket haul, while Prasidh Krishna played a crucial role as well, finishing with four wickets in the innings. The duo's inspired spells turned the match on its head after England had gained control through centuries from Joe Root and Harry Brook.

India had looked out of the contest after Brook and Root stitched together a 195-run partnership, but quick wickets late on Day 4 brought the visitors back into the game. On Day 5, Siraj and Krishna finished the job, with England losing their final four wickets for just 29 runs.

With this thrilling win, India drew the series 2-2. Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, India showed remarkable fight to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and end the series on a high.
