Tej Pratap Yadav had earlier stated that if he did not receive the party ticket from Mahua, he would defeat the RJD in the constituency.
Following the post, Lalu Prasad Yadav expelled Tej Pratap Yadav from both his family and the party over a serious breach of moral and social values.
Meanwhile, Tej Pratap Yadav's post revealing his relationship with his rumored partner prompted netizens to recall his marital dispute that made headlines a few years ago.
Lalu Yadav's son had tied the knot with Aishwarya, granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai. However, according to ANI, within a few months, she left his house, alleging that she was driven out by her husband and in-laws, and the couple's divorce petition is pending before the family court.
RJD state president Mangani Lal Mandal on Thursday stated that Tej Pratap Yadav has “no existence” in politics after being expelled from the party for six years.
As per IANS, speaking to reporters during his visit to Jamui for an Extremely Backward Conference cum Felicitation Ceremony, Mandal was asked about Tej Pratap Yadav’s claim that he would contest the upcoming Assembly elections from Mahua in Vaishali.
In response, Mandal said, “Tej Pratap Yadav has no existence. He is not in RJD, so it does not matter to me where he wishes to contest the elections. If a person is not in the party, how could we comment on him? Our national president, Lalu Prasad Yadav, expelled him for six years.
Tej Pratap Yadav's assertion to contest from Mahua comes as Bihar gears up for the upcoming Assembly elections that are expected to take place in November this year.
