Congress Leader Sonia Gandhi Hospitalized in Delhi

Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi Sunday due to a stomach-related problem.

"Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. She has been admitted to the gastro department due to stomach-related problem and is under observation," ANI reported quoting Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. 

This isn't the first time Sonia Gandhi has been hospitalized. Earlier, on June 7, the Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson underwent a routine health check-up at Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in Shimla for some minor health issues.

"Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi has been brought to Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in Shimla for routine health check-up due to some minor health issues. Doctors are examining her. She is stable," ANI quoted Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister as saying. 

Before that, on February 20, she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi due to stomach-related issues and was discharged after a routine check-up.

"Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi this morning at 8:30 am due to stomach related issues. She underwent a routine check-up and is now stable and is under observation," ANI quoted Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as saying.
