Bengaluru Mock Drills HIGHLIGHTS: Following the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), mock drills were conducted in Bengaluru of Karnataka.

Bengaluru Mock Drills HIGHLIGHTS: As the tensions between India and Pakistan are escalating, mock drills were announced to be conducted across India on Wednesday, May 7. This came after the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam in which 26 people were killed. Following the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), mock drills were conducted in Bengaluru of Karnataka. 

During the wee hours of Wednesday, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Altogether, nine sites were targeted as part of the precision strikes.

Prashant Kumar Thakur, Director General of Police, Karnataka, said, "Mock drills will be conducted in Bengaluru, Karwar, and Raichur at 4 PM on Wednesday."
