New Delhi: The seventh and last phase of Lok Sabha Election 2024 is scheduled to take place on June 1, Saturday. Today is the last of the campaign for all the political parties before Lok Sabha Polls 2024 comes to an end. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to campaign in Odisha today, while TMC leader Mamata Banerjee is going to campaign for votes in her ruling state West Bengal. The result for all the constituency will come on June 4. 

In the last phase of polls, elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chattisgarh. As per the election guidelines, polling will begin at 7 PM in all the polling booths.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 LIVE: PM Arrives In Kanyakumari, To Sit On 'Dhyan' Soon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari Thursday to begin a 45-hour meditation session at the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial here. The Prime Minister arrived from nearby Thiruvananthapuram and is scheduled to worship at the Bhagavathi Amman temple before moving on to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial to meditate for nearly two days.

Before leaving on June 1, Modi is expected to pay a visit to the Thiruvalluvar statue, which is next to the memorial. Both the memorial and the statue were constructed on tiny islets, which are distinct and mound-like rocky formations in the sea. All arrangements, including heavy security, are in place for Modi's 45-hour stay at the renowned, mid-sea memorial named after the revered Hindu saint.
