Special Session Of Parliament: Ahead of the special session of the parliament PM Modi said, this session is brief but it will be a historic session.

Special Session Of Parliament Live Updates: The five-day special session of Parliament commenced today and tomorrow the historic transition with parliamentary proceedings relocating from the old building to the adjacent, state-of-the-art facility will take place. The proceeding of the house is expected to begin 'Samvidhan Sabha' where the government is set to discuss  Parliament's 75-year journey- the first gathering which met on December 9, 1946.

Amid the speculations surrounding the surprise bill by the government, PM Modi is now speaking in the Lok Sabha . Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, announced on Sunday that this session will consist of five sittings across the span of five days. 

Furthermore, it is anticipated that eight legislative matters will be addressed during this session. Additionally, the discussions will encompass the 75-year parliamentary journey, starting from the Samvidhan Sabha, and will delve into the achievements, experiences, memories, and valuable lessons gained over the years.

Special Parliament Session Live Updates: Adhir Ranjan Reiterates Nehru's Contribution To Establish ISRO

Addressing MPs during the special session of Parliament Adir Ranjan Chaudhary said,  "there was discussion regarding Chandrayaan, I'd like to highlight that back in 1946, under the visionary leadership of Jawaharlal Nehru, the Atomic Research Committee was established. This laid the foundation for our journey towards the establishment of ISRO in 1964. Today, when we refer to ISRO, what else would we call it if not the Indian Space Research Organisation? The question arises, where did this issue of naming it Bharat instead of India come from?"
