Sunita Williams Return To Earth HIGHLIGHTS: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Nick Hague, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, have safely returned to Earth aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. They splashed down off the coast of Florida at 3:27 AM IST, March 19, marking the end of an unexpected but historic mission.

Sunita Williams Return To Earth HIGHLIGHTS: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have safely returned to Earth on Wednesday, March 19, after an extended 286-day mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Originally slated for a brief stay, their mission was prolonged due to technical issues with Boeing's Starliner capsule, necessitating their extended presence on the ISS. 

The astronauts, along with NASA's Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, returned aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule, Freedom, which splashed down off the coast of Florida at 3:27 AM IST.
