A Massive fire broke out near the iconic Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple in Tirupati district late last night, causing widespread panic among devotees and locals. As of now no casualties have been reported and the investigation is underway.

July 3, 2025According to the reports, a midnight fire engulfed temporary shop structures (pandals) at the temple entrance, rapidly spreading to nearby shops and completely destroying the pandals.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with preliminary reports indicating a possible short circuit at a nearby photo frame shop.
A fire also broke out at Tirupati Tyre Works on early morning, a fire official said. A Fire Official said that the fire broke out at 4:30 am and three fire tenders were deployed to the spot after the blaze and controlled the fire. There were no casualties reported yet.
At least 34 people were killed and several others sustained injuries in a deadly explosion a day ago at Sigachi Pharma Industries in Sangareddy district.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting and directed officials to submit a detailed investigation report.
Reddy said, "Don't conclude with assumption or general opinion. I need specific reasons for this accident. Only then can we address what happened here today."
PM Modi expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in the explosion and announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs for the next of family of each deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been announced from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
