A fire broke out in a warehouse in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district on early Wednesday morning.
According to a fire official, fire tenders have reached the spot and efforts are on to douse the blaze. No casualties have been reported.
"Around 2:19 AM, we got the information about the fire on Cinema Road in the city area. Three fire tenders left the fire station upon receiving the information. Fire tenders are present at the spot. Efforts to douse the fire are underway. No casualties have been reported. The situation is under control," ANI quoted Fire Officer Sushil Kumar as saying.
Recent Fire Incidents In Uttar Pradesh
Earlier on Tuesday, a fire broke out on the third floor of Park View Apartments in the Lucknow area. No injuries were reported in the incident.
"There is a flat on the third floor, 82/3, of Vaibhav Tripathi, and the incident happened likely due to a short-circuit. We have doused the fire and no injuries have been reported. We worked on this incident for around 1 hour," ANI quoted Fire officer Sushil Kumar as saying.
No one was injured in the fire; however, electronic appliances and household items worth around Rs 7 lakh were destroyed in the fire, as per the apartment owner, Vaibhav Tripathi.
"The fire was due to a short circuit, no family members or anyone were injured. However, the electronic appliances and household items have been destroyed, which could have an approximate worth of 5 to 7 lakh rupees," ANI quoted Vaibhav Tripathi as saying.
On May 22, a massive fire broke out in a factory in the Ujhani town of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district.
According to the official, the incident happened after the boiler fell and caused the fire.
"The fire has been controlled... Yesterday, due to strong winds, the boiler fell and due to the spark, the factory caught fire," ANI quoted Badaun Chief Fire Officer, Ram Raja Yadav, as saying.
