Make CBI report on Kiren Rijiju public, demands Congress; Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha adjourned till tomorrow

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday made a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi and claimed that he has enough proof to show that the latter is corrupt - a charge rejected by the BJP as 'baseless and laughable.' The Opposition, however, appears to be in no mood to spare the Modi government over the demonetisation issue as the Parliament resumed normal business after a four-day beak on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday made a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi and claimed that he has enough proof to show that the latter is corrupt - a charge rejected by the BJP as 'baseless and laughable.' The Opposition, however, appears to be in no mood to spare the Modi government over the demonetisation issue as the Parliament resumed normal business after a four-day beak on Wednesday.

Apart from demonetisation, the Opposition has also pressed for a discussion on the alleged involvement of Union MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju in an alleged scam related to a hydel project in Arunachal Pradesh. The Winter Session of the Parliament has so far been a washout due to a standoff between the government and the Opposition over demonetisation issue.
