New Delhi: Bollywood star couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are expecting their first child. The duo took to Instagram to share the good news in a joint post. In the heartwarming announcement, they simply captioned the photo, 'Elated,' capturing their joy as they embark on this new chapter together.

The pastel-toned announcement post featuring a floral wreath and a cradle, with 'Baby on the way' written on the top appear with their names 'Patralekhaa & Rajkummar' written underneath.

Soon after the parents-to-be, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa, officially shared the good news on Instagram, fans and their friends from the industry flooded the comment section with love.

Mom-to-be Kiara Advani dropped heart emojis, while Tripti Dimri commented, 'Congratulations,' along with two hearts and a flower emoji. Varun Dhawan shared, 'Congratulationnnssssss' with heart emojis. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja wrote, 'So happy for you both, my dear friends.'

Farah Khan also joined in and commented, 'Finally the news is out!! I was having a tough time keeping it to myself. Congratulations.' Pulkit Samrat added, 'Wowwwww!! Congratulations doston!!' Neha Dhupia wrote, 'Congratulations you guys.'

Rajkummar Rao’s Maalik co-star Manushi Chhillar was also among the celebs who wished the couple after the joyous news was shared. Dia Mirza commented, 'Best Best Best,' with a heart emoji. Bhumi Pednekar also sent her love with a couple of heart emojis followed by an evil eye emoji.

Rajkummar Rao And Patralekhaa Relationship

Rajkummar has often shared that he knew Patralekhaa was the one from the moment he first saw her in an advertisement. The two began dating in 2010 and later worked together in the film 'CityLights' in 2014. After 11 years of dating, On November 15, 2021, the couple tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in Chandigarh.

Patralekhaa was last seen in 'Phule' alongside Pratik Gandhi. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao will next appear in a gangster avatar in 'Maalik', directed by Pulkit. Manushi Chhillar also brings her own fire to the screen in the same film, which is set to release on July 11.
