Paetongtarn Shinawatra made history in September 2023 as the youngest Prime Minister of Thailand and only the second woman to hold the position.
With declared assets exceeding $400 million, her wealth includes over 200 designer handbags worth $2 million, 75 luxury watches valued at nearly $5 million, and 23 high-end vehicles like a Bentley and Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Paetongtarn's asset portfolio includes properties in London and Japan, alongside investments worth 11 billion baht and over one billion baht in cash and deposits.
She is the fourth member of the Shinawatra family to lead Thailand in the past two decades, following her father, Thaksin Shinawatra, a telecom tycoon and former Prime Minister.
The Shinawatras are among Thailand’s wealthiest families, with Thaksin Shinawatra building a fortune during the 1980s-90s tech boom in mobile communications and satellite services.
Paetongtarn's husband, Pitaka Suksawat, a former pilot and co-CEO of Rende Development Co., earned 5.13 million baht last year, with a portion coming from cryptocurrency trading.
