India’s star cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Thursday, January 23.
Athiya took to her social media handle and shared some throwback pictures of their wedding.
The duo got married on January 23, 2023, in an intimate function at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala.
KL Rahul is expecting his first child with Athiya Shetty in 2025, with the duo announcing the news on Instagram on November 8, 2024.
It was back in February 2019 when KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty met through a mutual friend. They immediately hit it off and started dating.
KL Rahul had a decent outing on the field in the recently passed Border Gavaskar Trophy where he made 276 runs in 10 innings at an average of 30.66, including two half-centuries.
KL Rahul has been added to India's squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
KL Rahul is not taking part in the ongoing 2024-25 Ranji Trophy match for Karnataka against Punjab, which started on January 23 in Bengaluru. As per reports, he has a problem with his elbow.
