Thurman, Biel join the star cast of ‘Playing The Field’

London: Actress Uma Thurman and Jessica Biel have signed up to join Gerard Butler in new sports comedy ‘Playing the Field’.

Thurman will play one of a host of mothers who try to seduce Gerard Butler`s character when he takes over as coach of his son`s soccer team in order to spend some quality time with him, reports contactmusic.com. Jessica Biel has also signed on to the project as the coach`s ex-wife and mother of his son, who is currently planning her wedding to a new man. Gerard`s character is a former soccer player whose guilt over his wild partying lifestyle leads him to agree to work with his son`s team. However his flirtations with a number of players` mothers get him into trouble. The film will be directed by Gabriele Muccino and produced by the leading man from a script written by Robbie Fox. IANS
