Cold wave persists in North India, temperature dips

India Meteorological Department reported that the cold wave conditions were observed ‘at isolated places over Punjab, north Rajasthan, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh’ on Tuesday. Minimum temperatures across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and the surrounding areas will be cooler than normal due to the cold northeasterly flow. Ground frost is possible with a temperature 3°C or below.
