Kargil Vijay Diwas: India pays tribute to martyred soldiers

India salutes martyrs of Kargil Nation is remembering the martyrs of the Kargil Vijay Diwas today. In 1999, between May and June, an armed conflict took place between India and Pakistan in the Kargil district of Jammu & Kashmir.
