Dharali town devastated by flash floods

There has been massive destruction in Dharali and Harshil in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Rescue operations have been intensified in search of lives. More than 225 army personnel and NDRF, SDRF teams are working on a war footing. So far five bodies have been recovered. 70 people including 11 soldiers are reported missing. 190 people have been rescued. Due to the closure of roads, rescue by helicopter is the only option
