Prepare the batter by soaking urad daal and then blending it into a thick & smooth paste with water.
Now mix ginger-garlic paste, cumin seeds, chopped onions, green chilli and salt in the grinded urad dal.
Take a pan, add oil to it, and then heat it. Add ample oil for shallow frying.
Then take the small portion of batter, flatten it and give it a round shape, then make a hole in the centre like a doughnut.
Now gently slide the bara in hot oil and fry it from both sides till it turns golden brown.
Remove it from the pan & place it on paper towel so that extra or excess oil is removed.
Your crispy & fluffy bara are ready. Serve it with chutney or spicy achar.
