This follows two back-to-back earthquakes that struck Pakistan on Saturday — a 5.7-magnitude quake in the morning and a 4.0-magnitude tremor later that day, according to Reuters.
What is Earthquake
An earthquake is the sudden shaking of the Earth's surface caused by the movement of tectonic plates beneath the ground. This release of energy creates seismic waves that can damage buildings, roads, and infrastructure. Earthquakes vary in intensity and can lead to natural disasters like tsunamis, landslides, and structural collapse.
