Take a pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil or ghee, add cumin seeds in it & let it sputter.
Then add finely chopped tomatoes & green chillies and saute until tender.
Add spices like rock salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder & amchur for tanginess.
Now add boiled chickpeas, stir them well so they coat evenly with the spices.
Let it cook for 5-7 minutes so that all the flavours blend properly.
To enhance its taste more lightly mash it, which will also make its texture thick.
Your tasty Chatpata chole are ready, garnish them with fresh coriander and then enjoy them with pure and halwa.
